 Hands-On Hide: A Leathercraft Workshop 

 Entry Fee: $20 per project (Proceeds cover materials)

Join San Miguel Basin 4-H for a full day of hands-on leathercrafting! This workshop is open to all area youth (ages 8-18) and adults looking to explore the art of working with leather. Whether you're a beginner or have years of experience, there's a project for you!

Youth Workshops with Kay Orton & Volunteer Instructors

Choose the project that fits your experience level:
Beginner (No Experience Needed) – Dog collar, coasters, or bookmark (stamping & carving basics)
 Intermediate (Some Experience) – Swivel knife case or coin purse
 Advanced (3+ Years Experience) – 3x5 spiral notebook cover or money clip

Adult Workshop with Suzi Meyers (Crossbow Leather)

 Project TBD – High-quality materials & traditional techniques

Schedule of Events

 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM – Youth & Adult Workshops
 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM – Lunch (provided)
 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM – Youth Project Completion
 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM – Leader Training (for 4-H volunteers & leaders)

 All are welcome—No 4-H membership required!
